Best wishes for 2018. On this raining morning friends, devotees, brothers & sisters in the dhamma assembled in the Wat Ananda Metyarama. Charity starts on the first day of the new year. The thought moment of giving voluntarily comes to mind right on the first morning of the new year. This cultivates community spirit. After the marathon midnight chanting, we rejoice by offering alms to the sangha order members. We usher the new year chanting amidst fireworks display booming at esplanade. To purify ones mind, do good avoid evil.
